PS4 PRO, here is the solution to the black screen problem

Nothing to worry about.

Some users have reported having difficulty connecting their own PlayStation 4 PRO, as there is an issue that could plague some TVs, including LG's 4K models for example.

Basically, by connecting your PS4 Pro to the TV, the screen turns out to be practically black and you can only hear the audio. To solve the problem just follow these steps:

1. Turn off the PlayStaiton 4 Pro completely
2. Press and hold the power button for seven seconds, you will hear two "beeps"
3. At this point you should see the safe mode menu
4. From the menu change the HDCP settings to 1.4
5. The console should now restart showing you images on the screen
6. Go to the PS4 Pro System Menu and disable HDCP
7. If your TV supports HDR you will need to activate the function directly from the television menu, selecting the HDMI output of the PS4 Pro (in some TVs HDR is called Ultra HD Deep Color)
