In the 35-year history of Super Mario Bros., Mario has taken on many forms
different, from Mario fire a Mario tanuki, Mario bee and so on. Now, our hero is ready to transform once again, taking on the form of a terrible cat! The new feline abilities will prove very useful in his next adventure, in which he will have to face a gigantic Bowser, really gone out of control.
With a new trailer, Nintendo previewed new images of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, coming up Nintendo Switch e Nintendo Switch Lite il 12 February.
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury: content overview
The trailer "The Power of Bowser's Fury!" shows the new threats that await the players in Bowser's fury. Nintendo also presented Nintendo Switch Mario Special Edition (Red & Blue), with a color scheme that pays homage to the famous Mario costume. This special edition of the console will be available at select retailers starting February 12.
In the box, players will find two red Joy-Con controllers with blue ties, a blue Joy-Con handle, a red Nintendo Switch base and a console Nintendo Switch which will be available for the first time in a new red color. They are also included a blue and red Nintendo Switch case (Mario special edition) and a protective film, to always transport and keep the console safe.
Although some players will already know Super Mario 3D World to Wii U, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury to Nintendo Switch offers several additions to satisfy the craving for new content. The part Super Mario 3D World of the title includes online and local multiplayer mode for up to four players, ideal for having fun with family and friends while impersonating characters like Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad.
In conjunction with the game will come two new amiibo figures, which can be purchased separately at selected retailers: Mario cat e Peach cat. Both of these amiibo will enrich the experience in Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury.
Collective challenge against Bowser's Fury
In addition to these new details on Bowser's fury, Nintendo announced the Global collective challenge, a special event of Super Mario Bros. 35, divided into three rounds in which players from all over the world can join forces to complete certain objectives within a certain time limit. The three rounds will take place between January and March and to participate it will be necessary a Nintendo Switch Online membership, Nintendo's online service that gives access to Super Mario Bros. 35 .
To accomplish the objective of the first round of the Global Collective Challenge, players around the world will have to work together to defeat 3,5 million Bowser between 08am on January 00th and 19:07 am on January 59th. In addition to the Challenge 35 mode, in which you can face Bowser during normal play sessions, that week's special challenge will include levels that offer numerous additional opportunities to defeat him.
If in the course of the event the players manage to defeat 3,5 million Bowser, Individual users who have contributed by eliminating at least one will receive 350 Platinum Points, which can be used to redeem My Nintendo rewards available in exchange for these points.
