If you could not die…
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has been out for about a week now and is driving players all over the world crazy. Like any From Software title, it hides its main strong point in the player's frustration. Compared to the other Souls-like it turned out to be much more compelling.
The title hides some news from the multi-use prosthetic arm to the wide use of stealth systems typical of shinobi.
This guide has been designed with the arduous task of making you survive as long as possible. Here are some tricks that will spare the Saints from your cursing.
1. Act in the shadow to serve the light
The motto that until now has been useful to the Assassins in their timeless hunt for the Templars is now also useful to our Wolf. If you are a regular player of From Software titles you will surely be tempted to go and attack your enemy without tricks or reservations. Nothing could be more wrong, forget what you think you know and bet a lot on stealth, this system is particularly useful against mini-bosses with two health bars.
2. There must be another way
If you are suffering particularly against a Boss or a host of enemies, try to look for alternative routes, perhaps more suited to your abilities. In case the clash is inevitable, climb high and study each situation, especially use the criterion "divide and conquer". For example, a small space with three enemies could lower your chances of survival, try to bring the fight where you will have freedom of movement.
3. Enhance the prostheses
Let's talk about one of Sekiro's great innovations: Shadows Die Twice: the Shinobi prosthesis. See it as your "trump card", upgrade it properly with spiritual emblems and victory will be in your hands.
Just think of the loaded ax, it can reduce the number of enemies, while the flame barrel can ignite even the most resistant Boss. Experiment and you will find that that tool goes beyond a normal prosthesis.
4. Even a fool can make money, but it takes a wise man to keep it
This proverb is useful both in real life and in the game. You will never think that this aspect can be of vital importance, in fact when you die you will lose half of the money collected, but not the items.
To avoid being broke, we advise you to use the "purses", as soon as you have money to spend, buy them. We know that spending money to buy others (perhaps at a higher price) may not make sense, but finding yourself with a supply will certainly come in handy during the game.
5. Escape is the only way to keep dreaming these days
This beautiful quote from Jim Morrison gives you some advice that may seem trivial. For games of this type, escape has always been discouraged unless you want a quick death. Our one-armed Wolf is much faster than his predecessors and the chances of escape from enemies will not be lacking and thanks to the use of the grappling hook you can get away quickly from the most hostile places.
