Red Dead Redemption 2, where to find all dinosaur bones

In search of the fossil remains!

One of the secondary missions of Red Dead Redemption 2 challenges you to locate 30 huge dinosaur bones so that an insane collector can recreate the ancient monster. Do this and you will get a new adorable hunting knife as a reward.

These bones can be incredibly difficult to spot. Occasionally they hide in the undergrowth, are wedged in rock faces or are on top of the mountains. Fortunately though, they light up like a Christmas tree when using Eagle Vision.

In this guide, we will detail the location of each individual dinosaur bone so that you can track them down and complete the search. We will include maps and screenshots to help narrow it down.

This guide contains heavy spoilers starting from bone 23 onwards. We strongly recommend that you complete the main story before attempting to find these bones.

1 # The first dinosaur bone is located south of Lemoyne's “L”, in the place where John is looking for a new field at the end of chapter 2.
