The server downtime is over for a while, and like every week Fortnite offers us lots of new things to have fun with.
Despite the small size of the update there are a couple of juicy news along with the usual bug fixing.
It will burst into your screens… and into your nostrils.
We are talking about the already announced Smelly Bomb. Once launched, it will release a poisonous cloud that will slowly damage the unfortunate inside. It is recommended that you watch the show with the new assault rifle with thermal vision, at least until they can see you.
Nostalgia effect.
A brand new retro-flavored skin is also introduced in this update: the 8-bit Demo Skin.
It will be a pleasure to wear it for those who like myself have a few generations on their shoulders.
Limited Time Mode.
This week's timed mode features one clash between teams of 20 players, who will have to battle in a terrain made difficult by the incessant presence of the Storm.
Weapons and items
Beyond adding the stink bomb (duration 9 seconds, epic rarity) the reload times of the Rocket Launcher have been differentiated according to the rarity, following this scheme:
Rare: from 2.3 to 2.8 seconds;
Epic: from 2.185 to 2.66 seconds;
Legendary: 2.07 to 2.52 seconds.
The maximum number of uncharged rockets that can be held is changed to 12.
Bug Fix.
All of the following bugs or issues have been fixed:
- Enemy structures will no longer be illuminated during thermal vision. The campfires, on the other hand, will be highlighted while using the thermal sight;
- Il Decorative back will no longer appear detached from the player;
- Fixed the problem of the two intersecting buses on the initial island;
- Fixed performance on Switch relating to the calls of the temporal functions during parachute descents;
- Optimized level streaming to make some uncertainties of the game more fluid;
- Added music for the emote again;
- Solved the problem of the sound related to the opening of the supply crates;
- Su iOS e switch the sound of the explosion of the sticky grenade is now correct;
- Added the Network debugging statistics in the Head Up Display of the User Interface;
- Fixed an issue related to an unusual crash after purchasing items from the Shop;
