The mode FUT - FIFA Ultimate Team is now such a popular mode that improving it is really difficult. Players can create their own dream team from currently active players and Legendary Icons. Like every year, we are "back in action" to give you some useful tips on how to make the most of the mode and make your dream come true, which is to create a strong and competitive team.
FIFA 20 review
Appetizers
If you have played FIFA before, you should have received some gift packs. If, on the other hand, you are at your first FIFA, you will have to cut your teeth.
To get started, the following information will appear on the screen:
- Founding date
- Name of the FUT Club
- Credits
- FIFA Points
- Experience level
Build the first team, of course with players of luck and certainly not of the highest level. To earn credits, and start the climb to success, we recommend starting with single player modes, such as Squad Battles. In this way, you will begin to familiarize yourself and above all to earn credits, essential for buying your favorite players.
Squad Battles
Squad Battles, introduced in FIFA 18, have replaced the traditional single-player seasons. Every day we will have to challenge teams belonging to real users, but playing against the AI. Depending on the chosen difficulty level, we will get a certain amount of points that will position us in a specific range of the weekly ranking. The higher the ranking, the higher the credits obtained and the better the gift packages that can be obtained. Each team has a different rating. Usually we start from a value between 50 and 70 and then arrive at values between 82 and 90+.
Special Squad Battle
Keep the risk element in mind if you decide to replay the challenges against special squads to improve your previous score, to climb positions in the rankings and get better rewards.
Division Rivals
To date, Division Rivals represent the most played mode in FIFA. To determine your Skill Score, you will need to play five qualifying matches. You will then be assigned a skill score based on the performance and results obtained in these matches and the relative division to which you belong. The results of each match will affect your Skill Score; accumulating enough points, it will be possible to level up, losing them obviously will make you demote.
Point assignment in detail:
Each match of the FUT Divison Rivals allows us to compete for 3 objectives:
- Weekly ranking for the determination of premiums;
- Il ranking or skill score, linked to the division to which it belongs. Which can increase if we go up in category, decrease if we go back;
- Points to access the Weekend League to unlock access to FUT Champions
The number of points obtainable in the Weekly Leaderboard and in the Ranking will depend on the result of the match and the level of the opponent.
Each week of Division Rivals is a separate competition. You will be able to get rewards at the end of each week. After you have redeemed them, a new competition will start again.
FUT Champions - Weekend League
Each victory in Division Rivals will bring you closer and closer to qualifying for the Weekend League. The target score for accessing it is 2.000 points. Then you can decide when to face the competition of your choice. Remember that if you make a certain number of victories in the FUT Champions, you will have automatic access to the next without having to go through the Rivals.

Player Pick

How to earn credits
Web App, credits and gift packages
Welcome packs
Once you have downloaded the FIFA 20 Web App (available for Android and iOS) or by logging in directly from the browser on the PC, EA will reward you with prize packages. If you've never played FIFA and it's your first time, you should only get one welcome pack.
Daily gifts and bonuses
These are daily rewards that can be obtained by simply accessing the App or from the browser.
Market and shop
To improve your team we can buy packs from the FIFA Points store.
The packages are divided into:
- Bronze Pack - (400 Credits): Includes 12 items, including players, club items and consumables, at least 10 bronze items including 1 rare.
- Premium Bronze Pack - (750 Credits): Contains triple the rare items of a standard bronze pack, including players, club items and consumables, at least 10 bronze of which 3 are rare.
- Silver Pack - (2500 Credits or 50 FIFA Points): Includes 12 items, including players and consumables, at least 11 silver including 1 rare.
- Premium Silver Pack - (3750 Credits or 75 FIFA Points): Contains triple the rare items of a standard silver pack. Includes 12 items, including players and consumables, at least 11 silver of which 3 are rare.
- Gold Pack - (5000 Credits or 100 FIFA Points): A great pack for finding the best players. Includes 12 items, including players and consumables, at least 10 gold including 1 rare.
- Premium Gold Pack - (7500 Credits or 150 FIFA Points): Contains triple the rare items of a standard gold pack, including players, club items and consumables, at least 10 gold including 3 rare.

- Bronze: 100% chance to find 45+ players, 87% chance to find 60+ players, 41% chance to find 63+ players.
- Premium Bronze Package: 100% chance to find 45+ players, 92% chance to find 60+ players, 58% chance to find 63+ players.
- Silver: 100% chance of finding 65+ players, 62% chance of finding 70+ players, 11% chance of finding 73+ players.
- Premium Silver Pack: 100% chance to find 65+ players, 72% chance to find 70+ players, 23% chance to find 73+ players.
- Gold: 100% chance to find 75+ players, 9,1% chance to find 82+ players, 3,4% chance to find 83+ players.
- Premium Gold Package: 100% chance to find 75+ players, 20% chance to find 82+ players, 4,5% chance to find 84+ players.
The probabilities were calculated by simulating the opening of packets. Obtaining special cards, such as OTWs (Players to Watch) or other very rare cards such as Icon ones, have a probability of less than 1%.
Trading and Sniping
The second way to earn credits and buy players is the market. Trading is one of the main building blocks in FIFA. The purchase of players is essential for resale, especially close to SBCs that may require them. This year, however, there is a feeling that EA Sports has reduced the possibilities of buying and selling, just look at the prices. A lot of players rated 85+ have a really low price.
Sniping
One of the most used methods for making credits. This technique consists in setting the advanced search to identify players for sale at a lower price than the real market price.
Before sniping a particular player, you will need to check that player's value on the market. Then enter the parameters, MAX buys now you want to spend and MAX price on 10.000.000. Then, hold the indicator on MAX price and press the L1 key to quickly lower it, circle to return to the search screen and triangle to start the search. Take these steps and you will surely see that players will come out to snip. If after several attempts you do not find anyone at that price, or you change the parameter of the MAX buy now or market target. Don't overdo it with sniping otherwise FIFA could mistake you for a Bot and temporarily ban you from the market or even permanently ban your account.
Goals and SBC
Daily, weekly and monthly goals will reward you with credits, packs and players. Unlike in past years, where it was possible to get about 100k only by unlocking bonuses from the EA Catalog, this year it will be necessary to complete specific objectives that change both daily and monthly. For example, by achieving a certain number of victories in the Rivals or by reaching the milestone of 500 victories in the Squad Battles.
But how will we unlock these achievements?
By earning XP points (i.e. experience). A prize will correspond to each prize bracket.
The management of Swap cards has also changed. In fact, very stringent objectives are required, as a Swap is already available that allows you to obtain Icon players (which we will talk about at the end of the article). While the flow of cards last year was nothing short of unprecedented, this year we should expect even more special cards and upgrades of various kinds.
Squad Creation Challenges
Challenges are the best way to get rare packs and players. If you have players who are advancing, always check that they can be used in challenges for two specific reasons. The first is the potential profit that can be obtained. Maybe one of the requirements requires players belonging to a specific team and with a specific nationality. Their value would increase enormously. The second reason concerns the possibility of completing the challenge itself, saving a lot of credits.
New Icons
New Icons have been introduced in FIFA 20: Andrea Pirlo, Kakà, Drogbà, Essien, Pep Guardiola and many others.

Icon Swap.
The first Swaps available allow you to obtain Icons with the use of some cards, precisely called Swap player. Compared to last year, during which a new Icon was proposed on a monthly basis, this year 3 icon groups will be available that will last three months.
