"Take the Money and Run".
In 2013, a campaign to finance a videogame project: The Stomping Land appeared on Kickstarter, a well-known Crowfunding platform. It was supposed to be a multiplayer survival game, based on dinosaurs and hostile places. Originally the developers, led by the founder Alex Fundora, they asked for $ 20.000 support, but things went from good to better.
In fact, at the end of the campaign the counter of Kickstarter registered a whopping $ 114.000 but surprisingly Fundora disappeared without replying to emails from colleagues and supporters.
Vlad Konstantino, the model designer replied in a forum that he is trying in every way to contact Fundora which, moreover, also has its share of money.
Currently Kickstarter has only formally responded with an apology about the situation but the backers, that is the supporters, with the other developers connected to the project, have started to take action.
