Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced via the PlayStation Blog that Days Gone will arrive on the Epic Games Store and Steam on May 18, 2021. The PC version will be embellished with improved graphics and support for ultra-wide 21: 9 monitors. It will also be possible to use mouse and keyboard, and all post-launch content released on PlayStation 4 will be available. Days Gone is an exciting new title for PC gamers.
Days Gone is an open-world action game. The story is set in Oregon, two years after a mysterious global pandemic decimated the world, killing most of the population. Survivors live in a world where resources are scarce, violence and murder are common, and Freakers roam untouched nature.
Players will take on the game world as Deacon St. John, a wandering bounty hunter who lives outside civilian encampments. Deacon survives using the skills learned before the world ended, thanks to the Mongrels MC, an outlawed motorcycle club, where violence and chaos were dominant.
Days Gone is the representation of how each of us could react to the loss of love and friendship, the representation of the irremediable changes that each individual would undergo in facing revenge and despair: because to survive is not to live. For Deacon, in particular, the adventure symbolizes a journey of redemption to continue believing in hope.
The PC version of Days Gone is out on May 18, 2021. If you want to know our opinion on the title, find our review here.
