Namco Bandai Games Europe announces that Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition for PC is now available in Europe and Australasian territories in retail and digital versions, via Steam and the Games for Windows Marketplace.
This rich special edition of the highly acclaimed action and role-playing game developed by FromSoftware it will be optimized in every detail to satisfy PC gamers, bringing back all the thrilling challenge, rich atmosphere and addicting gameplay that have made the game a worldwide phenomenon. The PC version of Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition It will also include an improved PVP mode, which will allow players to test their skills in a series of online battles to the death. Additionally, it will include a stunning artbook, featuring artwork and sketches of the new downloadable content Artorias of the Abyss, the CD of the original soundtrack, a DVD with several behind-the-scenes videos, a poster and a series of postcards.
Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition will include new maps and environments, new bosses, enemies and non-playable characters, an arsenal of new weapons and armor, and new content for the most valiant heroes, who can return to the dangerous world of Lordran. Players will face a new chapter in the history of Dark Souls, set in the magical but now decadent realm of Oolacile. After being sent back in time, the player will be the only one able to save Oolacile from the rampant darkness, which threatens to engulf the entire kingdom and its inhabitants. A second version of Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition, which includes the original game Dark Souls plus additional content, will be available from October 26 (FROM OCTOBER 25 ) for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
