During the "The Game Awards 2020" was shown Just cause mobile. a one minute trailer, but capable of showing one graphics incredibly detailed and a little bit of gameplay. This is because apparently the co-founder of Avalanche Studios, as well as creator of the Just Cause series, Christofer Sundberg has formed a new development studio a Stockholm, Called Liquid Swords.
Sundberg stated, “We have no intention of reshaping the world of storytelling as we know it. Our path to leave a mark and make a difference in the industry is based above all on games with immediate accessibility and satisfying gameplay “.
Liquid Swords will take care of open-world action games to next-gen console, PC e platforms for streaming gaming. Although the studio is based in Stockholm, has already opened several branches all over the world. Un Deadline article reports that the upcoming film adaptation of Just Cause found a director, in the person of Michael Dowse. According to the article, the first details on the film make it clear that it will follow the characteristics of the series quite closely, with Rico Rodriguez as the protagonist (although nothing is yet known about the actor who will impersonate him). The film will follow Rico in a race against time to stop a mercenary organization known as "The Black Hand." The film will also feature a female co-star who will add "a touch of romance" to the production.
