The Wizard of Oz is one of those stories that pass from generation to generation, and even if today the films seem old by now they still have a very special charm. So it doesn't surprise us at all that there are so many games inspired by the story of Dorothy Gale, his little dog Totò, the tin man, the scarecrow and many other adorable or scary characters. Here are some of these games, the ones we think are the most interesting.
The first is a mobile game, ie The Wizard of Oz from Warner Bros. It is a game for media iOS which was launched in 2013 and built by Spooky Cool Labs, laboratories recently purchased by Zynga and specialized in mobile and social games. The game accurately recovers the atmosphere of the original 39 film, and even the characters have identical features to the actors. The game is a town builder and the first step is to finish building the golden path, then move on to the city of emerald and gradually retrace all the incredible adventures experienced by the character beautifully played by the precocious Judy Garland.
