The new smartwatch the Galaxy Gear, from Samsung, was presented at theIFA of Berlin, the international electronics fair, within the Samsung Unpacked 2 event. With a display from 1,63 inches the device is a pc-clock that interacts with smartphones via Bluetooth through voice control (does not have Wi-Fi).
This smartwatch, with a touch display and rubber strap and a simple and metallic aesthetic, in addition to showing messages, notifications, call alerts, allows you to answer calls and talk, bringing your wrist to your ear, as it includes speaker e microphone; everything is made even easier by the voice recognition function S Voice, also present in Galaxy smartphones, which allows you to communicate with the watch to make calls, dictate messages and ask what the weather is.
Another peculiarity of the Galaxy Gear is the presence of the 1.9 megapixel camera to take photos and videos in order to capture those moments that we may not capture with normal cameras or smartphones. The smartwatch also reads music, videos and presents some applications such as: Glympse, for sharing your GPS position, Evernote, eBay, chat and some apps for monitoring heart rate and calculating calories burned.
The exit is scheduled for 25 September 2013 in 140 countries for the price of dollars 299.
