Micron at CES announced a revolution in its range of gaming memories Crucial Ballistix. In fact, two great new families of high-performance memories have been presented that will replace the current "Sport" "Tactical" and "Elite" from February 4 of this year (here our review of the Ballistix Tactical Tracer RGB) : We are talking about Crucial Ballistix e Crucial Ballistix Max, expressly intended, respectively, to gamer ed overclocking enthusiasts.

CES, Las Vegas - January 7, 2020 - Crucial, Micron Technology's leading memory and storage brand, today announces the next generation of high-performance Crucial Ballistix memory for gamers who are passionate about overclocking. Engineered using Micron die technologies and a completely new design, the portfolio includes two new lines: Crucial Ballistix and Crucial Ballistix MAX.
Crucial Ballistix Memories
The new Ballistix line offers speeds from 2400MHz to 3600MHz and density from 4GB to 32GB, and features a modern aluminum heat spreader available in black, red and white. RGB options include 8 areas with 16 customizable LEDs that can be controlled via the RGB software. The Crucial Ballistix lineup is available for desktop (DIMM) or laptop (SODIMM) and comes with a lifetime warranty.
Crucial Ballistix MAX
Ballistix MAX memory is the most important within the new portfolio, featuring speeds from 4000MHz to 4400MHz and a density of 8GB and 16GB. Ballistix MAX DIMM modules, featuring a high quality black extruded aluminum heat spreader for heat dissipation, have a built-in precision thermal sensor to monitor temperature in real time. RGB options include 8 areas with 16 LEDs, customizable and controllable with support for ASUS Aura, Gigabyte RGB Fusion and MSI Mystic Light software. The lightbar is removable and can be replaced with a 3D printed version for further customization. Crucial Ballistix Max memory is available in desktop format (DIMM) and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

The new Crucial Ballistix and Ballistix Max lines replace Micron's Ballistix Sport, Tactical and Elite products and will be available from February 4, 2020, on crucial.com and through select channel partners.
