Middle-earth: Shadow of War DLC Desolation of M ordor available today and free update.
Today Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announces the availability ofstory expansion The Desolation of Mordor, the new downloadable content (DLC) for Middle-earth: The Shadow of War where players can take on the role of Baranor, Captain of Minas Ithil, escaped from the now fallen city, who is reunited with his lost brother, Serka. The two warriors must engage an army of mercenaries to once again face the orcs that loom menacing from the east, across the desert region of Lithlad, in an attempt to conquer the imposing fortress of Shindrâm.
THEstory expansion The Desolation of Mordor includes the following contents:
- Play as Baranor, the Captain of Minas Ithil who survived the fall of the city, in a new story where players can command the forces of Man against the new threat of the Orcs of the East.
- Team up with Torvin, the dwarf hunter, to create new combat tools, including shields, gloves and more
- Hire mercenaries to create an army of humans and conquer the new desert region of Lithlad, home of the Were-Wyrms.
- Complete a host of new outpost missions and overthrow Shindrâm's massive Marauder fortress.
- Fight to survive in Mordor as a human without the power of the Ring or as a ghost to cheat death in a new rogue-like campaign mode.
From today, several free de contents are also available Middle-earth: Shadow of War among which:
- Upgrades for the Nemesis System - Overlords can now have bodyguards, whose function is the same as Warchief bodyguards. They are also able to send spies.
- Brutal difficulty - Enemies are as fast and deadly as on the Gravewalker difficulty level, but the damage level has increased enormously and Might and Wrath will fill up faster allowing players to use more special moves.
- New player skin - Choose whether to appear as Baranor in the main campaign.
- Photo Mode update - New stickers, styles and filters inspired bystory expansion The Desolation of Mordor
- Online Fight Pits & Online Conquests Update - Search your friends by player name when fighting in online mode.
