NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe announces today that the downloadable content Artorias of the Abyss, after debuting in Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition, will be available for digital purchase on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE from 24 October 2012 in Europe and Australasia.
In Dark Souls: Artorias of the Abyss, acclaimed developers from FromSoftware will plunge players into the depths of hell through torturous dungeons, relentless boss battles, and one of the most challenging gameplay experiences ever. The DLC Artorias of the Abyss will also include an improved online PVP (player versus player) mode, which will allow users to test their skills in a series of fights to the death.
Dark Souls: Artorias of the Abyss will offer new maps and environments, new bosses, enemies and non-playable characters, an arsenal of new weapons and armor as well as new content for the most valiant heroes, who can return to the dangerous world of Lordran.
