A little over an hour ago, the new DLC dedicated to the Kingdom of Hearts saga, Kingdom Hearts 3 Re: Mind, became available on the PlayStation Store. XBox users will have to wait until next February 25th.
In this article, we want to tell you everything we know.
The DLC in question was announced during the 2019 Tokyo Game Show with the following slogan:
Discover an “already familiar kingdom”, new boss battles and a story where players will learn more about the Count of Organization XIII, as well as receive new Keyblades via a free update.
Later, during the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra: World of Tres other new features were introduced:
Slideshow: A system that will offer you the possibility to create a slideshow with the photos taken by customizing the soundtrack and frames;
Data Creating: Similar to the creation of dioramas seen in other Japanese games, this novelty will give you the freedom to position the characters of the series as you wish.
All this was introduced together with the Premium Menu, which offers the following features:
Fast Pass: System useful for weakening enemies;
Black Code: A challenge for hard and pure, without objects, cures and other trappings.
New playable characters
Several new features have been introduced in Kingdom Hearts 3 Re: Mind, including the long-awaited possibility to play the role of other characters, such as Kairi, Roxas and Aqua. In addition, the presence of friends from the world of FInal Fantasy has been confirmed.
Summarizing this new DLC it can be said that it is "A story that Sora has not yet experienced, a reunion with friends you have met in the past that allows you to add all sorts of new gameplay elements".
