Smurfs to the rescue
The Smurfs 2, produced by WayForward and distributed by Ubisoft is a rather classic two-dimensional platform game, one of those games that were so popular in the 90s, if you were lucky enough to live that videogame era. The plot that is the background to the events of the Smurfs is quite simple and broadly resumes that of the feature film: The evil sorcerer Gargamel creates a pair of mischievous smurf-like creatures, the Brats, with whom he hopes to capture their magical "blue essence. ". But when he discovers that only a real Smurf can give him what he is looking for and that only a secret spell known by Smurfette can turn the Brats into real Smurfs, Gargamel kidnaps Smurfette and takes her to Paris, where he is known and admired by millions as the best sorcerer in the world. It will be up to the Smurfs to save her! Almost by chance, Papa Smurf will open portals that will lead the Smurfs in search of Smurfette through the six game worlds; enchanted forests, frozen lands, lava jungles, New York and even the romantic Paris will be the locations for the rescue mission.
