Google Chrome has a new feature: Live Caption. Whether you are on desktop devices or smartphones, now finally you can have subtitles everywhere, so as to meet the many deaf and hard of hearing. It used to be an exclusive feature of the Google Pixel phones, finally now we have even more accessibility and consequently a better experience on all possible devices.

Through a post on the official website, Google has announced that with Live Caption it will be possible automatically generate subtitles in real time. But it won't be that simple, in fact subtitles will be available for every single content that has audio. So you are looking at gods videos or podcasts, when Live Caption is active, we will have subtitles everywhere.

The new feature will also be useful for those who do not have problems such as deafness. Just imagine you are in a particularly noisy place, as can be a bus, it will be possible not to interrupt the vision of your videos due to the background.

To enable this new feature of Google Chrome just follow these three steps:

    • Go to settings
    • Select Advanced
    • Choose Accessibility

Live Caption currently only supports English and is available on PC, Mac, Linux and will also arrive for ChromeOS. As for Android devices, the feature is already availableand for any audio and video played on your mobile.
