Remember when there was still tomorrow,
Remember where it all began,
Remember Reach
Recall that the title is expected to be released worldwide on September 14, 2010 (the 15th in Japan) exclusively for Xbox 360.
Below is the official press release:
The countdown continues for the launch of "Halo: Reach", scheduled for September 14, and the full version of "Deliver Hope" arrives
The live-action short film on the world of “Halo: Reach,” titled “Deliver Hope,” which premiered two weeks ago, is enriched with a longer version, visible online starting today. Debuting today exclusively on Machinima's You Tube channel, it will also be available tomorrow on Halo.Xbox.com, Halo Waypoint and www.bungie.net.
Sometimes the only way to accomplish a mission is to pay the highest price. These two minutes and fifteen seconds of live action “Deliver Hope” are a dramatic depiction of the sacrifice paid by Team Noble. It's a deeper look at the bravery and heroism required of soldiers during the battle on Reach, and includes a clip never seen in the original version.
"Deliver Hope" is the cornerstone of acclaimed director Noam Murro's ("Smart People") series of live-action commercials who also directed "Birth of a Spartan", also related to "Halo: Reach", and a live-action series available at RememberReach.com.
“Deliver Hope” also features an unreleased musical score, written and produced by Human, with Brian Emerich (“The Wrestler”) acting as sound designer. The film is edited by Angus Wall (“The Social Network”) and was filmed on location in Prague. For the production of “Deliver Hope,” Microsoft and Bungie have partnered with leading industrial talent, including the advertising agency Agencytwofifteen, Legacy Effects and Method Studios (for visual effects).
Exclusively for Xbox360, “Halo: Reach” is available for pre-order at participating retailers, in Standard, Limited and Legendary versions. In addition, there is also a wonderful lineup of hardware products branded “Halo: Reach. The limited edition "Halo: Reach" of the Xbox 360 console will be available as a bundle with the game as early as September 14, along with the wireless controller and wireless headset. As an extra bonus, fans will be able to receive a token to unlock an exclusive Spartan Recon Helmet in-game by pre-ordering it from participating retailers.
Developed by award-winning Bungie studio exclusively for Xbox 360, “Halo: Reach” will launch on September 14, 2010 worldwide except in Japan, where it launches on September 15, 2010.
