Initially expected in stores for the month of April 2011 and subsequently postponed, a new release date has finally arrived.
Microsoft has officially announced that the long-awaited third installment of the third-person shooter saga developed by Epic Games, Gears Of War 3, will be available worldwide starting September 20, 2011 exclusively for Xbox 360.
After a long wait, therefore, finally the fans of this splendid saga exclusively for the Microsoft console, will be able to play the final chapter of the trilogy in September.
All that remains is to wait very impatiently for that day.

Pull out your calendar, grab a pen and mark September 20, 2011, when Gears of War 3, the most anticipated title of the year, will launch worldwide.
Gears of War 3 is the glorious conclusion of one of the most memorable sagas in the history of video games and therefore you certainly cannot forget this date.
The story begins eighteen months after the events of Gears of War 2 and the loss of Jacinto's human stronghold. Marcus, Baird, Dom and society continue their struggle to save human civilization, facing new threats that come directly from inside the planet through the campaign mode.
Here's what else we can expect from the most anticipated game of 2011:
• An immersive cinematic story that captures players in an intimately intense action game;
• A five out of five multiplayer experience as well as a four-player co-op experience in campaign mode;
• New multiplayer game modes, including 'Beast Mode', which offer a new twist to the game, where you can play the role of the locust horde and their many variations!
• New maps including: Trenches which features an impressive sandstorm that reduces visibility, as well as Overpass, Mercy, Checkout and Thrashball maps.
• New weapons including: The Bayonet Charge, The Retro Lancer, The Sawed-off Shotgun, The OneShot - a heavy sniper rifle that shoots through screens or to go into cover and deliver a surprise shot, The Incendiary Grenade, The Digger Launcher and some slight tweaks to old favorites Hammerburst and The Classic Lancer. And don't forget that you can now use every weapon for a final execution move!
