Sony has announced the removal of HDCP protection on PlayStation 4.
This protection, which is instead present in PS3, made it difficult to capture video footage of gameplay from the Sony console.
At the opening of the Tokyo Games Show, the Japanese company confirmed today that on the next-generation console it will be possible to capture videos directly from an HDMI cable, making us editors happy but also all fans who love to upload their videos to YouTube.
This function will also be released from the Share button functionality, which will still be present on PlayStation 4 for more immediate and non-professional sharing.
