Yesterday it was officially announced that a new distribution event for Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby ed Alpha Sapphire will take place at the Gamestop; from 1 to 14 February this year, in fact, it will be possible to go to one of the stores of the well-known video game chain and get nothing less than the legendary Mew simply by carrying your Nintendo 3DS system and your copy of the Pokémon game in which you want to receive it.

London, January 27, 2016 - The February 27 Pokémon celebrates 20 years from the release of the first game and to celebrate the event, all fans are invited to go to the shops GameStop to receive the first of a series of special Pokémon that will be distributed throughout 2016!

Mew will also be back in stores next time 13th April with the release of the Mew edition of the Pokémon TCG: Mythical Pokémon collection. This will be just the first in a series of editions of the Mythical Pokémon collection designed to celebrate this remarkable year for Pokémon. It will contain a special promotional card featuring Mew, as well as two booster packs from the Pokémon TCG: Generations expansion and a code card to unlock the virtual version of the cards from the same expansion in the Pokémon TCG Online.
This explosion of events dedicated to Mew coincides with the announcement by The Pokémon Company International of the beginning of the celebrations for the 20 years since the publication in Japan in 1996 of the first Pokémon video games for the Nintendo Game Boy: Pokémon Red Version and Pokémon Version. How to get the Mythical Pokémon Mew in your copy of Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon X, and Pokémon Y:
1. Connect your Nintendo 3DS system to the Internet. For Nintendo Consumer Service, please visit support.nintendo.com.
2. Start your copy of Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon X, or Pokémon Y.
3. Select “Secret Gift” in the start menu.
4. Select "Receive Gift", then choose "Yes".
5. Select “Via Serial Code”, then “Yes”, then “Yes” again to connect to the Internet.
6. Enter your code.
7. Watch your Mew transfer happen!
8. Talk to the postwoman you will find in any Pokémon Center to get your Mew.
9. And don't forget to save your game!
