It was 1978 when Lum broke into the Rising Sun with the manga dedicated to his bizarre adventures. Since that time, the work of sensei Rumiko Takahashi has enchanted millions of readers around the world, winning multiple awards - including the Shogakukan Manga Award in the shonen and shojo categories in 1980 - and has inspired an animated series, six films and twelve OAVs.
